Jo Bo Ah replacing Lee Chung Ah in The Obedient Killer makes more sense than it looks

Jo Bo Ah is now officially Lee Hwa Ra, code name Miss Lee, in TVING's The Obedient Killer. Lee Chung Ah had already shot part of it, but a car accident in August aggravated her back and the role has a lot of action, so she stepped down. Jo Bo Ah started filming on the 17th, and it's her first drama since giving birth in February. My first reaction was that Lee Chung Ah's cool, dry energy was a perfect match for this character, who is written with a sharp short cut, colorless suits, a flat voice and a cold face. Jo Bo Ah reads warmer on screen. But she already did the short hair and the uniform in Military Prosecutor Doberman, and that was the role where a lot of people stopped seeing her as only the lovely heroine. The bigger test is the setting, the 70s and 80s, and a genre the Korean press keeps calling ์ฒญ์๊ฐ๋ จ ๋์๋ฅด (roughly "innocent-and-fragile noir"). That needs someone who looks harmless first and dangerous later, which is more or less her whole range. I'm more optimistic than I expected to be.
