100 Days of Deception: a gun in her face, then a bandaged ankle

New stills for tonight's episode 4 of tvN's 100 Days of Deception (9:10 p.m. KST). Small spoiler for episode 3's ending below. Kim You Jung plays Lee Ga Kyeong, a pickpocket recruited as a spy for the independence movement who gets a job inside the Japanese Government-General under a false name. Episode 3 ended with a stranger calling her a spy and dragging her off, and the first still picks up there: gun pointed at her, split lip, sweat on her forehead. The second set is the opposite mood, Park Jinyoung's character, an interpreter who is also the adopted son of the second-highest official in the colonial government, kneeling in a herbal clinic to bandage her ankle while neither of them can look at the other. That is the whole appeal of these occupation-era spy romances in one pair of images. The romance only works because both of them could get the other killed. It hit 7.0% on Saturday, its best yet, and I think it climbs further once the spy plot stops being setup.
