🔥happy anding teaser: three comedians nobody laughs at 😭

7HaneulAm2026.10.17 14:02👁 1562💬 28♥ 63

tvN's new one is about a comedy trio called Asura who've been stuck as unknowns for 10 YEARS 🥹 the teaser is just them in ridiculous costumes doing bits while everyone around them looks so done with them, and Kang Hoon going "just trust and follow me" like the cult leader of bad jokes 😭 my bet: the mysterious woman they run into is what splits the trio up, and the finale is the three of them back on one stage together ✨ i refuse to believe "anding" is a typo, someone is making a pun at me premieres nov 6 and i'm already prepared to cry at a comedy 🫠

10 years unknown and still going. that's not a comedy, that's a horror

7Nari2026.10.17

Nov 6 is in the diary. Reckon the cult leader is the one who cries first.

i KNEW it 😭 the korean title is spoiling it for me

7HaneulOP2026.10.17

the bar is on the floor and they're doing limbo under it 💀

7Geonwoo2026.10.17

Naming the trio after a warring demon realm is optimistic branding for guys who can't fill a room. I like it.

8Dabin2026.10.17

OMG WAIT the costumes 😭 why does this look like my friend group at 3am

8Taeho2026.10.17

For what it's worth, the Korean title is 뜨거운 안녕, literally a 'hot goodbye'. Your split theory isn't crazy.

"hot goodbye" for a comedy trio drama is bleak. Nov 6 and I'm already keeping tissues nearby

It's a coming-of-age drama. Let them cook.

ten years of open mics for three people and a bartender. that's not a plot, that's my cousin

every drama about unknowns is really about being tired. i'll give ep 1 a shot and see if they make me laugh once

6Fizzwick2026.10.17

a drama about comedians that's actually funny would be a first, so the bar is on the floor

dance crews got the same thing. we've all been the ones nobody claps for at the open mic, so I'm already invested

8Taeho2026.10.17

Premiere is Nov 6, so we'll find out soon whether the trio gets one good joke. The costumes suggest the writers know that's the risk.

7Soomin2026.10.17

Not sure about a comedy where the bad jokes are meant to be bad. Hard to tell a joke failing on purpose from a joke just failing.

↳
8Taeho2026.10.17

A joke that fails on purpose is a craft of its own, it needs better timing than a real bad joke. If the writers get that right, the premise works.

↳
7velvetcrow2026.10.17

failing on purpose is its own skill though. the trick is the other characters' faces, and the teaser already has that part nailed

↳
7Junseo2026.10.17

bad jokes on purpose are a real thing in korean variety, the 아재개그 (ajae gag, dad-joke humour) groan is half the fun. the show probably leans on that

7Minjae2026.10.17

I'll watch it for the cult leader line. 'Just trust and follow me' is how every bad group project starts.

7Gaeun2026.10.17

The costumes look chosen to be laughed at, which is hard to style. Wrong on purpose is still a look.

7Junseo2026.10.17

naming your comedy trio after a warring demon realm while nobody laughs is a great start

7Kettlecorn2026.10.17

ten years unknown and the teaser is mostly costumes. no offense but if the bits were funny someone would've clapped by year three

↳
7hanriver.walk2026.10.17

clapped by year three isn't how it works, most comics I know got clapped for around year eleven and kept it quiet

6soju_sundays2026.10.17

ten years of nobody laughing is just a night shift with costumes. I'm in

7Dahye2026.10.18

what got me wasn't the jokes, it's everyone around them looking so done. I know that face from my own group chat 😅

7sleepy_orbit2026.10.18

Ten years of nobody laughing and the show still expects me to laugh in episode one. Bold.
