the setup: jung yong hwa is uhm tae bong, a top star famous as a romance lead who has never filmed a kissing scene. in the new teaser he literally yells cut the second his face gets near his co-star. hong seung hee is oh hae ra, a sheltered chaebol heiress whose only friend was the tv. she gets hit by a car and wakes up convinced she's the bodyguard heroine from his old drama, so she makes herself his secret bodyguard korean title is 밑도 끝도 없이, 너다, roughly 'it's you, out of nowhere'. co-directed by yoon jong ho, who did lovely runner, which is the main reason i'm paying attention my bets. the no-kiss rule is covering something, and the teaser already says she finds out his secret, so i think it goes back to something that happened on that old set. she drops the bodyguard identity around the midpoint and has to figure out if she still likes him as herself. first kiss lands as an episode ending, obviously the part that makes me a bit nervous is korean articles saying filming wrapped about four years ago and it's only now getting a slot. sometimes a shelved drama just had bad luck with scheduling, sometimes there's a reason. lifetime starts it october 24 so we won't wait long to find out
