๐Ÿ”ฅThe Devil's Plan: Dead Again poster is just Jang Dong Min's victory lap

Five straight survival wins and Netflix puts him dead center at the table again. In the teaser his line is basically "you're all going to die by my hand anyway", and the scary part is the stats back him up. I'll watch it, obviously. But a season built on veterans getting a re-challenge feels less like a new game and more like a boss rush where we already know the final boss. Hong Jin Ho sitting there just makes it more StarCraft-reunion coded.

tutorial NPCs, but each gets one dramatic zoom in the edit

Not convinced the 'Dead Again' angle survives the edit. Comeback arcs get ten minutes, then it's the champion looking calculating again.

Stella and John in a brain survival show is the part I'm waiting for too. Hope they get more than a reaction shot.

disagree, the whole point of 'Dead Again' is the ones who got eliminated coming back angry. that's the story, not him

7Haneul2026.10.14

hong jin ho in a suit next to a mahjong table is peak cinema regardless

7Junseo2026.10.14

boss rush is exactly it. at this point the other 15 are tutorial NPCs

fair, but every comeback arc needs a boss to lose to. we know who that is

I'm with you on the angry comeback angle, that's the version I'd actually watch. I just hope the edit gives it more than a few minutes.

five wins in a row and the poster is still just him in the middle ๐Ÿ˜ญ the rest never stood a chance at poster placement โœจ
