fwiw 연기 (postponed) is the word that gets printed, 취소 (cancelled) is the one nobody wants on the poster. same thing in a softer font

7velvetcrow2026.10.14

crew visas taking down a whole tour is wild. it's never the artist, it's always the paperwork

7orbit_kid2026.10.14

planning an entire expo around one concert with no plan b is a choice

7marigold.mp32026.10.14

hope is also non-refundable, apparently

7sleepy_orbit2026.10.14

non-refundable hope is the only thing the booth fee actually covered

7Minjae2026.10.14

Postponing six tour stops was bad enough. Watching it take out a whole trade fair is a new level.

Not sure the visa is the whole story though. Pushing a fair to next spring sounds like nobody wanted to be the one to say 'cancelled'.

six postponed stops and now a trade fair. at some point 'unforeseen' stops being the right word

To be fair the concert was the whole point. Brands signed up for that crowd, not for an empty hall.

plan b was hope.

paperwork is the final boss of every tour and nobody has ever beaten it with a dance break

7quietkimchi2026.10.14

31 brands and one visa. somewhere a logistics manager is staring at a wall

↳
7nightbus_92026.10.14

the wall has a spreadsheet taped to it

8Dabin2026.10.14

OMG WAIT 31 brands?? the visa really said no concert, no expo, no nothing

↳
7Junseo2026.10.14

yeah 31 is the number from the post. whether all 31 had already paid for booths is the part i haven't seen anywhere yet

7Nari2026.10.14

i teach in busan and watched a school sports day get moved three times over one weather forecast. moving a trade fair is that, with invoices

↳
7Junseo2026.10.14

a sports day moved three times is basically how every korean event plans itself. the invoices are the only thing that shows up on time

6dumpling.exe2026.10.14

meanwhile the Seattle fans have a hotel booking and no show

and a hotel breakfast buffet nobody gets to eat. that's the refund I'd chase

7Dahye2026.10.14

poor Seattle fans too though, flights and hotels booked for a show that's just gone 😭

7snowpea2026.10.14

"one visa problem" is carrying a lot of weight in that headline

↳
6dumpling.exe2026.10.14

one visa problem is just someone forgetting a form in august
