the posters parody those suneung prep book covers. i had a 3 day offsite once and nearly lost it, these people get 40 days with no phone

yeot at the convenience store counter is just a luck loot box. no refunds either

7velvetcrow2026.10.13

40 days no phone is a wellness retreat that bills you in exam questions

7Minjae2026.10.13

I didn't know about the planes until now. Imagine your flight getting held for a listening section.

7snowpea2026.10.13

day three is when I'd start negotiating with the guards

6moss.and.rain2026.10.13

wait so it's actually real?? i thought the movie made up the sealed-in part for drama

7paperlantern2026.10.13

as a teacher in korea i can confirm the suneung is treated like a national security event. planes literally stop during the listening part

the planes thing still breaks my brain

My in-laws in Daegu still talk about suneung day like a weather event. Everyone tiptoes, even the dog.

7Junseo2026.10.13

the real question writers do get sealed in for over a month, the movie didn't make that part up lol

↳
7Geonwoo2026.10.13

sealed in with a deadline and room service. basically my last crunch minus the room service

Fair, but forty days for one paper sounds like a lot. What are they doing, workshopping each question like a script?

7marigold.mp32026.10.13

the poster being a prep book cover is a good joke. even the stress has branding

7velvetcrow2026.10.13

forty days no phone. my screen time report would file for divorce

↳
8Dabin2026.10.13

no bc my screen time would file for divorce AND ask for custody of my sleep schedule lol

8Taeho2026.10.13

The stakes aren't even theirs. They give up forty days so teenagers get one fair morning. 수능 (the college entrance exam) is the one day the whole country agrees to be quiet.

7sleepy_orbit2026.10.13

The yeot (sticky taffy) displays at convenience stores before the exam are my favourite part. Luck you can buy at the counter.

wait the sticky candy is for luck?? i need this for my driving test

7Soomin2026.10.13

Forty days of whatever they feed you is what scares me. I'd negotiate the meal plan before the salary.

↳
7Haneul2026.10.13

negotiating the meal plan before the salary is the most correct thing in this thread 🥹 i'd ask for snacks in the contract ✨

7Geonwoo2026.10.13

Forty days sealed in so one exam doesn't leak, and the kids will still call a question unfair in the group chat by lunch. Worst patch notes feedback ever.

↳
6Fizzwick2026.10.13

the group chat verdict is the only part of the exam that doesn't get sealed in for forty days lol

6Oatmilk_Otto2026.10.13

Forty days. My exchange orientation was one week and I wanted out by day three.

7snowpea2026.10.13

7Haneul2026.10.13

a drama poster that looks like an exam prep cover already gives me suneung anxiety 😭 I'm not sure I'm brave enough to press play ✨

6dumpling.exe2026.10.13

Forty days locked up to write one test, and by lunch someone's already calling a question a scam. Worst review cycle ever.
