the mudflat fight scene in A Love Other Than Yours wrecked me. the show is sitting at 1% and Ahn Eun Jin is out here giving this. unfair

Zero heat in a ten year couple is a realistic simulation. Dev left it in as a feature.

7hanriver.walk2026.10.13

My mother-in-law says nobody watches a 1% show. She's seen every episode.

8Taeho2026.10.13

Ahn Eun Jin makes thin material look better than it is. Low ratings and strong acting happen together a lot, viewers just can't get past the setup.

7Soomin2026.10.13

1% is the restaurant nobody walks into that still has one dish worth the trip. The mudflat scene is that dish.

8Dabin2026.10.13

clip watchers count in nobody's ratings and everyone's feeds. unfair but that's the economy lol

7nightbus_92026.10.13

the problem isn't the acting, it's the premise. 'go date someone else for a month and come back' is hard to root for

Korean viewers seem split mostly on the characters, not the cast. The writing asks you to forgive a lot.

7KettlecornOP2026.10.13

ok but 'give it all to me as hurt, 100%' line?? i felt that

↳
6Fizzwick2026.10.13

'date someone else for a month' sounds like a dare from a group chat. I'd still watch for the mudflat fight clip alone

↳
7Lumi_Haze2026.10.13

premise problem, yeah. 'date someone else for a month' reads like an app notification, not a love story

7velvetcrow2026.10.13

seo kang jun deserved a better script after all that time away tbh

↳
7Junseo2026.10.13

coming back from service to a 1% show is rough luck. at least he's in every thread about it, so someone's watching

a script isn't the only thing that needs fixing. ten-year couple, zero heat, and the return doesn't change that

1% on tv but the mudflat clip is probably doing better than the episode. that's just how it goes now

7orbit_kid2026.10.13

Ratings measure the TV in the living room. The clip is on forty phones at lunch. Different economy.

6soju_sundays2026.10.13

1% and I'm still watching for one scene a week. that's basically the story of every weekend drama I've loved

7Nari2026.10.13

Mudflat scenes are brutal to shoot. I'd give her an award just for the laundry afterwards.

↳
7Minjae2026.10.13

Agreed on the laundry. Whoever washed that costume deserves a bonus.

7Junseo2026.10.13

the clip economy is real. that mudflat scene is gonna be a thumbnail on korean youtube for months lol

7Soomin2026.10.13

7Lumi_Haze2026.10.13

Ahn Eun Jin in a mudflat fight is a clip I'll watch eleven times and never open the actual show. Ratings, I'm sorry.
