Episode 8 of the KBS2 weekend drama aired on the 11th and came in at 1.9% nationwide, the lowest it has done. On paper it should work: Seo Kang-joon and Ahn Eun-jin, a ten-year relationship, she gets hurt, he takes care of her rehab. Watching that stretch I felt nothing, and I wanted to. The scenes are pretty and slow and nobody seems in a hurry to want anything. The top Korean comments go after the pairing, saying the two never looked matched even back at the production presser. I don't fully agree. Both of them have been great in other things. My problem is the writing keeps them apart for no reason I believe, and you can't fix that with chemistry. KBS weekend slots usually get forgiven a lot by older viewers, so dropping this far there says something.
