๐Ÿ”ฅFour kids, free croissants, and a full keunjeol

A cafรฉ in Nam-gu, Busan shared CCTV of four elementary school kids who came up short on money for the bread they wanted. The staff gave them croissants on the house. The kids took them upstairs, finished every crumb, came back down to the counter, bowed ninety degrees, and then all four dropped into a keunjeol (ํฐ์ ˆ), the full kneeling bow children usually save for grandparents at New Year. The person who posted it said they don't normally like putting CCTV online but this was too cute not to, and the clip passed 370,000 views quickly. Korean commenters keep picturing the four of them rehearsing it upstairs first. I'm fairly sure that is exactly what happened.

At New Year the kids do this for pocket money. These four did it for croissants, worse rate but faster payout.

honestly more curious what the parents said that evening. ํฐ์ ˆ to a bakery is a lot to explain at dinner lol

what gets me is the four of them dropping at the same time, nobody counted down. kid group chat telepathy lol

somebody got voted in as the counter, you can tell. that's the real plot of the clip

The rehearsal upstairs is what makes it. Four kids negotiating who counts to three.

ํฐ์ ˆ is what you do for grandparents once a year, and the bakery got it on a random weekday lol. overkill is why it works

Dinner table: 'where were you?' 'bakery.' 'why are your knees dusty.'

In-laws would have asked for a second performance of the bow on Sunday, with the cousins watching.

7cloudberry2026.10.12

I'd do a full keunjeol for a free croissant too, no shame

keunjeol for one croissant is a fair exchange rate lol. for a whole cake you'd need to do it twice

Question for the Busan people: how many Nam-gu bakeries do I have to eat at before I find this one. Asking for science.

Nam-gu has a lot of bakeries. Follow the smell and report back.

NOT THE EXCHANGE RATE ๐Ÿ˜ญ grandma pays cash, the bakery pays in croissants, these kids are playing the market

6moss.and.rain2026.10.14

wait is the keunjeol the one where they kneel and put their hands on the floor? I only know it from dramas, didn't know kids still do it for strangers
