MBC sent Haha, Heo Kyung Hwan and Joo Woo Jae to fight Kim Ji Won

4EeroAm2026.10.10 00:50๐Ÿ‘ 954๐Ÿ’ฌ 11โ™ฅ 29

SBS starts Doctor X on Friday nights, Kim Ji Won's first drama in two years after Queen of Tears peaked at 24.9%. MBC's answer: push its new drama Liar to Oct 30 and fill the gap with a three-episode Hangout with Yoo spin-off, without Yoo Jae Suk, starting 40 minutes earlier.

It's ๋ญ”๋ฐ๋ญ”๋ฐ!, a road trip where the three get dragged around against their will. My read: it isn't built to win, it's built to not lose too badly for three weeks. I'm watching it anyway. Sorry, Kim Ji Won.

*screams* three episodes, no Yoo Jae Suk, and MBC still wants me to watch a placeholder. I'm going to love it and I hate that

๋ญ”๋ฐ๋ญ”๋ฐ is a great title for a show I'll watch while telling everyone I'm not that interested

a placeholder with jokes. the best kind of placeholder

6ramyunatmidnight2026.10.10

40 minutes earlier means I'm eating dinner during it, which is the correct way to watch a placeholder

the 3-episode thing is MBC buying time until Liar. nobody here expects it to beat Doctor X

a Hangout spin-off without Yoo Jae Suk is like Running Man without the name tags. still watching

Kim Ji Won in a medical drama. I'm not even pretending to be neutral, Doctor X takes week one

Hangout with Yoo without Yoo is like a family table where everybody keeps glancing at the empty chair. Still a low-risk gamble for three episodes.

7Geonwoo2026.10.10

Three episodes is the right size. Not enough time for the ratings to become a headline.

Putting three guys who are dragged around against their will up against Kim Ji Won is the most MBC thing ever. I'll watch for the snacks and the chaos.
