๐ฅThe Ordinary Jackpot is the show for when you daydream about winning the lottery
You know that 4pm feeling where you're sure that if you won the lottery, every problem in your life would go away. The Ordinary Jackpot is a whole drama built to argue with that.

Gong Eun Tae, played by Lee Jun Hyuk, wins nearly a million dollars and his life does not magically get easier. He's still at work, still stuck in office politics, and in the latest episodes he and Jang Hyang Eun (Baek Yae In) get sent to audit another sales team in what looks more like a trap than a chance to prove himself. He's sharp, he knows exactly where to hit, and he does uncover the corruption, but it lands as half a win and half a loss because he can't see every consequence of what he's doing. That's why I'd recommend it for that specific mood. It scratches the money fantasy itch and then quietly reminds you that money doesn't fix people. Lee Jun Hyuk is great at playing someone who is a little bit scary when he's right. It's heading into its final episodes, so it's a good time to catch up. Watching him finally get everything and still have to fight for it is like Real Madrid winning the treble and the board still asking for more.
