three small things from Korea this week

Autumn skipped a step: the Gangwon mountains got a cold wave advisory on October 5, the earliest one since the system started in 2005.

Starbucks Korea's Black Glazed Latte, nicknamed 블글라 (beul-geul-la), passed 30 million cups since 2019, and it's only sold in the fall.

For Hangul Day, Banksalad renamed its app 은행샐러드, which is just "bank salad" in Korean words. Cute.
