tiny rant: the unmanned ice cream shop freezer

Someone walked into one of those unmanned ice cream shops, the self-checkout ones with freezers full of bars and cones. They needed to charge their phone. So they unplugged the freezer and plugged in their phone. The whole stock melted, and now the owner has CCTV stills taped up by the freezer calling it business obstruction, with a note that some ice cream can't be sold anymore. These shops only work because everyone quietly agrees not to be weird in them. No staff, just trust and a camera. And the one time someone needed a socket, the freezer was the thing that had to go 🙃 Charge your phone at a café like a normal person. Buy a drink, sit down, plug in. I promise the ice cream isn't the problem.
