Moon Ga Young's belt went on a trip down south

Moon Ga Young at the Marie Claire Asia Star Awards in Busan on the 7th, and the Korean fashion press did not hold back.

The pieces themselves are nice. Gray knit vest, black pleated skirt, a bright red belt, white shoes. Very preppy, very her. The problem everyone pointed at is placement. The vest falls straight down with no waist shape, and the belt sits below the hips, basically on the thighs. Your eye gets pulled down, the top half looks long, and the full skirt ending around the calves makes the legs look shorter than they are. One editor also said the red belt and the white shoes are both fighting for attention on an otherwise calm outfit, and those chunky white shoes don't connect with the dark skirt at all. That's the point I agree with most. Keep everything, move the belt up to the actual waist, swap the white shoes for black, done. I kind of like that it's weird, though. A belt that low is a choice, and red carpet choices are more fun than safe ones. It just needed to be waisted, not wasted.
