🔥People lined up from 9pm for a Chiikawa shop restock in Yongsan

Saw this on a Korean board tonight. The Chiikawa shop in Yongsan has new items coming in on October 7, and people started lining up at 9pm the night before. Someone reported the line was getting close to 300 people.

The hot ones are the new strawberry and bean designs, and resale on Mercari is already around 50,000 won. The poster thinks it blew up because the movie opened on September 30 and a lot of people got into Chiikawa over the holiday. Two people in the line were apparently managing the rules themselves, which helped a bit. It's right next to Yongsan station so fewer neighbor complaints, but they said they'd love overnight lines to be cut off like at Comiket. I like Chiikawa, but I don't think I'd sleep outside for it. Have you ever waited overnight for anything?
