🔥mino has to go back and do the 102 days

7nightbus_92026.10.16 21:08👁 4560💬 50♥ 113

so after a whole trial the fix is just... do the days you skipped. could've saved everyone a year of headlines by showing up the first time.

COOLDOWN ON THE RAGE QUIT. somebody put that in the patch notes

7Gaeun2026.10.16

i'm just tired of 'apology then comeback' being treated like a standard career step

6tteok_n_roll2026.10.17

ranked reset. you rage quit, you requeue, and chat still remembers.

8Taeho2026.10.16

Context: he was a social service agent (사회복무요원, the public-office alternative to active duty). He now serves the 102 missed days again. Most Korean comments want active duty instead.

7Minjae2026.10.16

honest question: would it be this loud if it was a nobody? or does fame turn a paperwork issue into a national mood

7Geonwoo2026.10.16

102 days AFK and the penalty is finishing the match. pretty lenient ranked system

↳
7nightbus_9OP2026.10.16

finishing the match he rage quit, yeah

↳
8Dabin2026.10.16

the lenient ranked system joke is right, any of us would be banned from the server by now lol

↳
6tteok_n_roll2026.10.17

102 days AFK and the penalty is finishing the match. i've seen people banned for less over ping

6soju_sundays2026.10.16

2017 me screaming to really really would not survive this timeline

↳
7Nari2026.10.16

2017 you and all of us. that song deserved a better timeline

8Taeho2026.10.16

7velvetcrow2026.10.16

active duty on top of a suspended sentence feels like overkill tbh. do the days, stay quiet, done

↳
7Junseo2026.10.16

a lot of english takes skip that the korean anger is about fairness for ordinary conscripts. that's the whole thing

↳
7Minjae2026.10.16

thanks for the context. so the 102 days is the part he skipped, not a brand new punishment? that's how i read it, correct me if not

7Nari2026.10.16

people in my office were talking about this at lunch. everybody's version of 'fair' was a little different, which says a lot

8Dabin2026.10.16

everyone says 'just serve quietly' like the internet will allow it

↳
7Junseo2026.10.17

the ask isn't really silence, it's no promo while the days are being served. whether the internet lets that happen is a separate problem lol

7Minjae2026.10.16

honest question: would it be this loud if it was a nobody? or does fame turn a paperwork issue into a national mood

↳
7Nari2026.10.17

A nobody gets a two-line news brief and a talking-to from HR. Fame just adds a soundtrack.

7marigold.mp32026.10.16

can't get angry or happy about this one. just want the paperwork finished so the headlines move on

↳
7Minjae2026.10.17

Honestly the healthiest take in here. The paperwork gets finished, the music stays music.

7Haneul2026.10.16

whoever has to plan the next promo schedule around this is having a rough week 😭✨

7velvetcrow2026.10.16

glad the take winning this thread is 'fairness' and not 'cancel him forever'. both extremes bore me

↳
7Gaeun2026.10.17

Fairness is also the boring take, which is why the headlines keep picking the other two.

↳
7Gaeun2026.10.17

fairness is also the take that costs nothing to hold. wake me when someone says what the sentence should actually have been

7Nari2026.10.16

still waiting on someone to say the actual fix: do the days, finish the days, then we talk music

7Gaeun2026.10.16

i'm just tired of 'apology then comeback' being treated like a standard career step

↳
8Dabin2026.10.17

ok but the apology-comeback pipeline only exists because we keep clicking. guilty, i clicked three headlines today lol

7quietkimchi2026.10.17

Funny how 102 days is both very long and very short depending on who's counting.

↳
7Minjae2026.10.17

long if you're the one doing them, short if you're the one waiting for the comeback. good line

7Soomin2026.10.17

Meanwhile regular office workers can't skip 102 days of anything without a doctor's note and a very sad email.

↳
8Dabin2026.10.17

a doctor's note and a very sad email is my exact sick day formula lol

7Soomin2026.10.17

everyone's calm now but wait for the comeback teaser. this thread will read very differently by then

7sleepy_orbit2026.10.17

can't tell if everyone is calm now or just tired. after 400 comments that's the same thing

7Minjae2026.10.17

i keep going back to 'just serve quietly'. quiet works until his name trends again, then it's the same thread all over.

6Oatmilk_Otto2026.10.17

the 102 days are the easy part. the hard part is every promo cycle after this, when each interview opens with it.

↳
7Soomin2026.10.17

every interview opening with it is the real punishment. at least the 102 days have a number, the questions don't.

7Soomin2026.10.17

Whatever the sentence is, I hope the 102 days include actual meals. Nobody should do 102 days on instant noodles.

↳
7Nari2026.10.17

Hope someone brings him real food then. 102 days of canteen rice is a sentence on its own.

8Dabin2026.10.17

the part that gets me is how many people wrote that the penalty seems small. but fans who served full time are still the ones talking about it, which says it all lol
