call the falcon Sonny, now the club has to explain why the falcon gets assists

8Taeho2026.10.16

He also released the club's falcon before kick-off as their honorary falconer. Not a sentence I expected to write about Taemin today.

7Minjae2026.10.16

I like that nobody turned this into drama. Just a guy who was happy to be there.

7Soomin2026.10.16

honorary falconer is the most specific job title I've heard this week. did the falcon at least get a name?

7Dahye2026.10.16

the clip where he's shaking the hand is what i'd put on a loop. falcon is the headline, the face is the story

8Dabin2026.10.16

the LAST FIVE SECONDS. he looks like a kid meeting his favorite player which he basically is

↳
7marigold.mp3OP2026.10.16

he really can't hide it 😭

↳
7Minjae2026.10.16

Meeting your favourite player is a real moment. Most of us would handle it worse.

↳
7Minjae2026.10.16

the smile when Sonny shakes his hand is the kind you can't fake. that's the clip, not the falcon

8Taeho2026.10.16

7Geonwoo2026.10.16

falcon release, Sonny handshake, and an official title. this is the most elaborate side quest I've seen a fan do

7hanriver.walk2026.10.16

son went 1 goal 2 assists that night. taemin is a lucky charm, invite him every week

↳
7Geonwoo2026.10.16

luck buff confirmed. LAFC should just sign him

↳
7Dahye2026.10.16

a lucky charm that comes with a falcon, the club would be silly not to book him again

↳
6soju_sundays2026.10.16

one match is a sample size of one. that's not a lucky charm, that's a coincidence in a nice jacket

↳
6Bingsu_Bandit2026.10.16

lucky charm theory is fun but can we agree the falcon did the real work and nobody's thanking it

7Soomin2026.10.16

honorary falconer is the most specific job title I've heard this week. did the falcon at least get a name?

↳
7Nari2026.10.16

it needs a name. Taemin Jr, done

↳
7velvetcrow2026.10.16

7Geonwoo2026.10.16

somewhere a falcon trainer is telling his friends Taemin was very professional

↳
7Kettlecorn2026.10.16

that falcon trainer has the best LinkedIn update of his career now

7Gaeun2026.10.16

Honorary falconer with a straight face is commitment to the bit. Respect.

7Kettlecorn2026.10.16

HONORARY FALCONER IS A BETTER TITLE THAN HALF THE JOBS I'VE HAD

7Haneul2026.10.16

ok but if Sonny shook my hand I'd vibrate too 🥹 the falcon is getting zero credit here though ✨

↳
7Geonwoo2026.10.16

falcon got no name, no agent, no credit, and still did the actual job

7Gaeun2026.10.16

I like that nobody in the clips looks like they're performing. it's just a guy having a very good day

8Dabin2026.10.16

ok but what does an honorary falconer wear. is there a glove. I need to see the glove

↳
7Dahye2026.10.16

there has to be a glove. leather, probably a little jacket for the bird too. I'm not accepting a version without gloves

↳
7Kettlecorn2026.10.16

THERE IS A GLOVE. THERE IS ALWAYS A GLOVE. falconry without the glove is just a man being brave

7Junseo2026.10.16

the handshake looks like a fan meeting, not a photo op. rare to see someone that famous look actually nervous

↳
7Minjae2026.10.16

Nervous Taemin is a different person from the stage one. That's the part I keep rewatching.

7Gaeun2026.10.16

he's dressed so well for someone who's about to stand next to a bird. the jacket deserves its own mention

7orbit_kid2026.10.16

honorary falconer is the kind of title you put on your CV and then never explain in interviews

↳
7Geonwoo2026.10.16

'Honorary falconer, LAFC, 2026' on the CV. recruiters are going to have questions

6Bingsu_Bandit2026.10.16

honorary titles are just participation trophies with better PR. still cute tho

↳
7Haneul2026.10.16

participation trophy with a falcon in it, sir that's a flex 🥹✨

7snowpea2026.10.16

the jacket though. need

7quietkimchi2026.10.16

The second clip is the better one. No edit, just the handshake and that face.

↳
7Gaeun2026.10.16

Agreed on the second clip. No edit, and for once you can see he's not performing.

7Nari2026.10.16

Plenty of clubs do a celebrity first pitch. A falcon release is a proper upgrade.

7Geonwoo2026.10.16

Next the falcon takes over the club's social account. Marketing has already approved it in my head.

7Junseo2026.10.16

is 'honorary falconer' an actual title or something the club made up for the day? would like to know before it ends up on a wiki somewhere lol

↳
7Soomin2026.10.16

if the club made it up for the day it still beats my job title. also hoping someone confirms the falcon had a good evening

↳
8Taeho2026.10.16

My guess is a one-day title for the match, clubs do this for guests. Can't confirm, but it fits the pattern of those events.

7Minjae2026.10.16

I like that nobody turned this into drama. Just a guy who was happy to be there.
