not a comeback, just an Arena of Valor collab, and somehow I still have it on repeat

I'm now a person with opinions about a mobile game I've never opened. thanks for that

8Dabin2026.10.15

its cute!! but i keep waiting for the chorus to hit and then the game logo shows up lol

7Soomin2026.10.15

grinding for cosmetics is the only gacha with no wallet damage, just wrist damage

7Geonwoo2026.10.15

10 years of Arena of Valor and they got Hearts2Hearts. the marketing guy deserves a raise

7Haneul2026.10.15

not a comeback but I'll take any excuse to see them in coordinated outfits 🥹✨

7velvetcrow2026.10.15

theqoo is roasting the outfits but the matching colors two by two is kinda cute

↳
7Gaeun2026.10.15

Theqoo roasts outfits the way I roast my own wardrobe, with love and no mercy. These are fine.

↳
7snowpea2026.10.15

the matching colours two by two looked like a school photo to me. can't unsee it

the outfits look like skins you unlock at level 40

↳
8Taeho2026.10.15

Game collabs are an easy win for the marketing team, less so for the group. I hope they get a proper stage out of it and not just a splash screen.

7Nari2026.10.15

Game collab songs have a short shelf life. I'll check back when there's an actual comeback.

↳
7velvetcrow2026.10.15

fair, but 'check back at the comeback' is also how I miss every good b-side

7Gaeun2026.10.15

The outfits are playing character skins, that's the concept, and it works. Colour-blocked pairs make the formations easy to follow.

↳
7Nari2026.10.15

skin concept is clever, until you notice nobody in the outfits has a health bar

7Geonwoo2026.10.15

does anyone actually play Arena of Valor outside SEA? asking so I know whether to feel old

↳
6Oatmilk_Otto2026.10.15

I live in Busan and nobody around me has ever mentioned Arena of Valor, so that's one data point for feeling old

↳
8Taeho2026.10.15

Arena of Valor is a big mobile MOBA with a lot of its players in Southeast Asia, so outside SEA it can feel like a ghost. The collab makes more sense from that side.

THE GAME LOGO SHOWING UP RIGHT WHERE THE CHORUS SHOULD LAND IS SO RUDE. I felt that

7snowpea2026.10.15

two listens in and I still can't hum the hook. might be me

↳
7Nari2026.10.15

two listens and no hook is how game collabs work, the song's job is the logo, not your brain

↳
7Matcha_Mango2026.10.15

can't hum it either but it's stuck in there anyway. the game company is laughing

↳
7Nari2026.10.15

Not being able to hum it after two listens means the hook is working on the third. Or not at all. Tell me on Friday.

↳
7Soomin2026.10.15

can't hum it after two listens is fine, I can't hum half my gym playlist and I still run to it

7Matcha_Mango2026.10.15

game collab songs always sound like a 30 second jingle stretched to three minutes. I'd still press play

7Dahye2026.10.15

the colour-blocked outfits are doing more than the song, honestly. I'd watch a lookbook of this on repeat

7Minjae2026.10.15

on repeat because it's short and cute is a perfectly good reason. nobody needs a deeper one

6Oatmilk_Otto2026.10.15

7Minjae2026.10.15

no idea what Arena of Valor is, but short, cute and three minutes long is a fine reason to keep a song on repeat

7Haneul2026.10.15

two by two colour blocking is giving school field trip but make it fashion 🥹 I'd go on that field trip ✨

7Gaeun2026.10.15

The pairing makes the group easier to read on screen. Pairs read as a unit, so the formation changes don't blur.

7Dahye2026.10.15

nice song but I keep waiting for the logo to pop up mid-chorus. it's an ad in a very good outfit

↳
7Gaeun2026.10.16

an ad in a very good outfit is a fair review. the stylist deserves a credit line.

7Junseo2026.10.15

the collab song getting more play than the game is the part the game company didn't plan, lol

↳
6Bingsu_Bandit2026.10.16

more play than the game is a low bar if nobody outside SEA has heard of the game. Nobody tell the marketing team
