Third play is when the hook lands. Fourth is when they hum it and deny it.
nobody pushed it is generous. i pushed it in every group chat since april. send the invoice
a b-side hitting 100m before the title track is the side dish outselling the steak
six months. i blinked.
a b-side with a hundred million views. somewhere a title track is updating its resume.
THIRD ONE FROM ARIRANG TO DO IT. A B-SIDE. i've been yelling about this song since april
yelling since april counts as a public service 😭 you called it ✨
Yelling since april and the song finally listened. persistence.
yelling since april should come with a dated receipt. sir, you were early.
the in-laws are missing out fr 🥹 send them hooligan as the christmas card
noted. they'll nod politely.
Christmas card with a QR code to Hooligan, I'd honestly send it. Reckon they crack by the third play.
Six months for a b-side. The title tracks must be sitting in the corner feeling nervous.
Title tracks nervous in the corner while the b-side is at the party eating all the snacks.
A b-side getting there says a lot about word of mouth. People find these tracks on their own and loop them. Was it the fans or the shorts, do you think?
My money's on shorts. Everyone I know heard the hook in a clip first and only then went looking for the song.
it's both but i'd say the clip got people in and the chorus kept them. i found it on a clip, now it's on my commute
six months. i blinked.
Six months goes quick when it's on repeat.
ok but six months on repeat feels like six weeks
A B-SIDE!! the group chat has been unbearable and i'm loving it
same!! my group chat is 40 messages of hooligan hooligan HOOLIGAN
40 messages in the group chat and one person still asks what the song is called
Title tracks get the stage, b-sides get the replay button. Sometimes the replay button wins.
replay button wins!! put that on a tote bag 🥹
a b-side with a hundred million views. somewhere a title track is updating its resume.
title track updating its resume is going in my notes
somewhere a title track is updating its resume and the b-side is the new manager
100 million for a b-side. the title track is on the bench watching the substitute score.
the title track is out here doing the media rounds while the b-side does the actual work 😂
Reckon the next comeback meeting is going to be awkward. 'Which one's the title again?'
'Which one's the title again' at the next meeting is going to be a very quiet room.
A b-side getting there on replays is the nicest kind of hit. Nobody pushed it, people just kept pressing play.
nobody pushed it is generous. i pushed it in every group chat since april. send the invoice
six months to 100 million for a b-side is the 'actually i didn't need the spotlight' arc
the b-side that didn't need the spotlight and got it anyway. best villain origin story.
not convinced one view count tells the whole story, the real test is whether the next b-side gets anywhere near this 🥲
ok but 100m in six months is kind of the whole story, nobody streams a b-side that long out of obligation lol
Respect, but a b-side doing this means the title track's chorus has some explaining to do.
