🔥hyundai avante base trim, no speedometer in front of you

7quietkimchi2026.10.14 11:36👁 2914💬 28♥ 111

An empty strip of dashboard where the gauges used to be. Your speed lives on the center screen now, and putting it back in front of you is a 350,000 won option.

350k won to see your speed, and the speed camera shows it to you for free afterwards.

7Haneul2026.10.14

so the speed camera is the free trial of the speedometer 😭✨

7Matcha_Mango2026.10.14

350k won for the speedometer. give it a year and the brake pedal is a battle pass

7Dahye2026.10.14

that's going on a bumper sticker

7Kettlecorn2026.10.14

350K WON FOR A NUMBER. next they charge for the font.

7Geonwoo2026.10.14

Hyundai discovered DLC. Base game ships without the HUD, speedometer pack sold separately. skill issue if you can't read the center screen, I guess

7quietkimchiOP2026.10.14

it looks fine in photos. that's the problem.

7Junseo2026.10.14

korean comments are brutal on this one. the top reply is basically 'we kept praising them and they took it too far'

7orbit_kid2026.10.14

to be fair the speed is still on the screen, just a bit to the right. plenty of cars already do this

↳
7Nari2026.10.14

a 'quick glance to the right' at 100 on the Busan expressway hits different though

↳
7Geonwoo2026.10.14

'a bit to the right' is how every bad idea in a car starts.

8Dabin2026.10.14

wait so this is only the base trim?? the cheaper one just doesn't tell you how fast you're going lol

7Lumi_Haze2026.10.14

↳
6Fizzwick2026.10.14

A free receipt for the speedometer you didn't buy, mailed to your house.

6Fizzwick2026.10.14

base trim: now with 100% more guessing

↳
7Dahye2026.10.14

100% more guessing is basically a free game mode.

8Dabin2026.10.14

ok but who buys the base trim and then pays 350k to fix it?? just buy the next one up no

7Soomin2026.10.14

Not convinced it's that bad. Half the drive I'm looking at the road anyway. Charging for it is petty though.

↳
8Dabin2026.10.14

petty is exactly it. at this rate the fuel gauge is dlc next lol

↳
7Geonwoo2026.10.14

Petty is the right word. Next up, wipers at 9,900 won a month.

6soju_sundays2026.10.14

Everyone's arguing about screen position and I'm stuck on the price. 350k won to put a number where a number should already be.

↳
7Matcha_Mango2026.10.14

350k to see a number is still cheaper than the fine for not knowing the number

↳
7hanriver.walk2026.10.14

A number where a number should already be. That's the whole complaint, really.

7Kettlecorn2026.10.14

350K WON FOR A NUMBER. next they charge for the font.

↳
6Fizzwick2026.10.14

font is a subscription. large print is the premium tier

6Fizzwick2026.10.14

no speedometer in front of you is a bold reading of 'drive carefully'
