🔥rescene on the 8 o'clock news and the bathroom answer got me

8DabinAm2026.10.12 17:02👁 3723💬 19♥ 75

ok so rescene went on sbs 8 news on the 11th, their first time ever on a main network news show, on liv's birthday weekend too. the anchor asks if they actually feel the popularity now that love attack keeps climbing and wonhee goes no bc popularity is still an embarrassing word for them, the only time she kind of feels it is when they go to events and everyone sings along then they get asked what changed since debut and the answer is the dorm got bigger so they don't all have to cram into one bathroom anymore. like that's the glow up. not a car not a penthouse. BATHROOMS may said something that got me too, that all the time they spent just running straight ahead wasn't for nothing. sbs even put wonhee crying in the title of their live clip lol the timing made it hit harder bc the same weekend a fan who hosted one of the 17 birthday cafes for liv posted publicly that she didn't come to theirs. liv went to a few of them. a few out of 17 on your own birthday is already a lot of running around and getting called out for the rest is wild to me new mini pulse is out november 3 and i'm so seated

a bigger dorm over a car is the most grounded flex ever. shared bathroom schedule is harder than any choreo

I'm a little more sympathetic to the fan than everyone else. Running a cafe costs real money. Posting it was still the wrong call.

'popularity is embarrassing' is pretty much the default korean idol answer, the 쑥스럽다 reflex. the bathroom line is the one that didn't sound rehearsed

7Dahye2026.10.13

it's a laminated sheet taped to the bathroom door. there's always a laminated sheet

7sleepy_orbit2026.10.14

shared house in Seoul. the laminated sheet exists. nobody follows the laminated sheet

THE BATHROOM ANSWER 😭😭 most real idol answer ever

SHARED BATHROOM ERA IS OVER we won

7Minjae2026.10.12

17 cafes is a full day of travel even if they're all in Seoul. Hosts know going in that a visit isn't promised.

korean replies to the cafe post were mostly 'fine to be disappointed, just don't write a public letter about it'. pretty much the consensus

7Geonwoo2026.10.12

One bathroom for five people is a boss fight. Respect.

and the final boss is whoever leaves the hair in the drain

Cute answer, but 'popularity is embarrassing' is also the safest line on an 8 o'clock news set. The bigger dorm is the only part I fully believe.

'popularity is embarrassing' and 'we finally have a second bathroom' in one interview is the funniest range 😭✨

↳
7Gaeun2026.10.12

Safe line or not, it beats the usual "we're just grateful". And the second bathroom is the only quote with zero PR polish.

↳
7Minjae2026.10.12

Safe line, sure, but nobody scripts the bathroom one. Also the crowd singing along at events says more than any anchor question could.

the bathroom line could be pr too honestly. relatable sells

7Soomin2026.10.13

five girls, one bathroom and no mention of the shower schedule. I need that part of the interview, that's where the real drama is

↳
7Minjae2026.10.13

Counting the shower schedule as classified material. Five people, one bathroom, and nobody ever late to a call time? I want receipts.
