🔥three of them were born in 2013

Lee Soo Man's new girl group A2O LITE did their debut stage at KINTEX today. Nine members, three born in 2013, average age 15.1. I teach kids that age, and whatever the song is like, I can't cheer for a debut built on a class of twelve and thirteen year olds.

Child performers aren't new in Korea, but a 13-year-old on an adult promo schedule is a different thing. I'd like to know what their school arrangement looks like.

7Junseo2026.10.12

average age 15.1 and they'll still print an 'oldest member' bio like it's normal lol

7marigold.mp32026.10.12

i don't know what to think. the stage looks happy and the numbers look young and both feel true

7Geonwoo2026.10.12

Debut stage at KINTEX, average age 15.1. Somewhere a legal department took a very long lunch.

7Haneul2026.10.13

i'm still at 'what's my wifi password' level, nine-person formations at 13 is a whole other thing 😭✨

8Dabin2026.10.12

ok the debut song might be catchy but 2013?? i was already obsessed with kpop in 2013 that's so weird to think about

To be fair, trainees that young have debuted for years. It's just rare for a whole group to average 15.

I teach kids that age and they're wrecked by Thursday from school alone. Add a promo schedule and I'd like to know who signed off on it.

The school arrangement is the one question nobody on that stage will get asked.

7Geonwoo2026.10.12

Yoo Young-jin producing in 2026 is the least surprising sentence I've read today.

7Haneul2026.10.12

the 4D VR booth at the venue sounds fun tho 😭 i'd go just for that part

6Oatmilk_Otto2026.10.12

the 4D VR booth is the first thing i'd queue for too. priorities

↳
7Soomin2026.10.12

VR booth for us, 4D schedule for them.

7Haneul2026.10.12

a convention hall, a VR booth, nine debut members. the budget is not shy 😭

6tteok_n_roll2026.10.12

the dance break better be good, that's all i want to know. the kids can probably move, that part doesn't worry me

7velvetcrow2026.10.12

nine members and the whole debate is about birth years. the song hasn't even had a chance to be bad yet

↳
7Minjae2026.10.12

If the song turns out good, the age question gets louder, not quieter. Weird place to debut from.

↳
8Dabin2026.10.12

the song hasn't had a chance to be bad yet is rude and also fair 😭 i'll press play once and report back

7marigold.mp32026.10.12

i don't even know the song and the birth years already make me a bit sad

↳
6soju_sundays2026.10.12

same. I'll watch it for the choreo and feel weird about it in the shower later

7orbit_kid2026.10.12

I was still figuring out locker combinations at 12.

↳
7snowpea2026.10.12

I still forget my office locker code. Learning nine-person formations at 13 is a different league.

6dumpling.exe2026.10.12

In esports the 'is this kid ok' talk happens after the first scandal. Here it's apparently before the first song.

6dumpling.exe2026.10.12

Whole thread is about birth years. If the song were any good somebody would have quoted a lyric by now.

↳
7velvetcrow2026.10.13

nobody quoted a lyric because nobody got past the thumbnail. me included

7marigold.mp32026.10.12

i don't know what to think. the stage looks happy and the numbers look young and both feel true

7Haneul2026.10.12

i'm three years older than the youngest one and i can't even keep a plant alive 😭 hope someone's checking their homework too

↳
7Minjae2026.10.12

Homework is the easy one to check. Whether they're actually sleeping eight hours is the harder one.

8Taeho2026.10.12

Korea does have rules on working hours for minors in entertainment, so the real question is how closely they get followed. The first few weeks of schedules will say more than the debut stage.

7Nari2026.10.12

At 13 I couldn't stick with a hobby for a term. Reckon a debut with school on top is a big ask, whatever the song turns out to be.

7cloudberry2026.10.13

My wife says a 13 year old in Korea is usually out at hagwon until late already. A debut schedule on top of that is what gets me.
