🔥Lee Soo-man is debuting two groups in Korea at once

The SM founder is producing in Korea again for the first time since he sold his 14.8% stake to HYBE in February 2023. That deal came with a non-compete that kept him to overseas work for three years, and it ran out at the end of this February.

His company A2O is launching a boy group, A2O SOUL, and a girl group, A2O LITE, together. The debut show is on the 12th through M2 and Mnet Plus, the singles SUPERSTAR and NEON drop on the 13th at 6pm, and both are already on next week's M Countdown lineup. Yoo Young-jin, the man behind a lot of classic SM songs, is handling the music and performance. Korean comments on the girl group mostly circle one thing: the rumored center was born in 2013. "She's debuting right away?" came up again and again. Nobody doubts he knows how to build a group. Two teams on the same day still feels like a test of his name more than of the kids, so I'm listening to SUPERSTAR on the 13th before I decide anything.
