๐Ÿ”ฅTarzzan singing On the Street in front of Sung Si-kyung himself

5TariqAm2026.10.10 08:48๐Ÿ‘ 2927๐Ÿ’ฌ 23โ™ฅ 58

Tarzzan says that back in elementary school, every time he sang Sung Si-kyung's "On the Street" he'd have a girlfriend by the next day. Then he sang it, with the man himself sitting right there.

The confidence of covering a ballad in front of the guy who wrote it into history. That's taking a penalty against your own goalkeeper coach and scoring.

nobody important in the room is how you never find out you're bad though. this guy took the harder exam ๐Ÿ˜‚

7Dahye2026.10.10

I'd forget the lyrics too and just hum it at him with full confidence

genius. Sung Si-kyung looked like a proud dad

5jaywalker2026.10.10

singing a ballad to the person who made it famous is either genius or a cry for help

8Taeho2026.10.10

Tangent, but in my nursing school there was one guy who sang at every party. Same confidence, just nobody important in the room. Different risk profile entirely.

the 'elementary school' part is doing so much work in this story lmao

what did kids even do with a girlfriend in elementary school. share a pencil case

โ†ณ
7Dahye2026.10.10

right?? 'elementary school' is carrying the entire story and I choose to believe every word of it ๐Ÿ˜‚

pencil case girlfriend ๐Ÿคญ sorry but a girlfriend by the NEXT day? the math isn't mathing ๐Ÿ˜‚โœจ

6screamingcarrot2026.10.10

*screams* he actually sounds good though??

7Dahye2026.10.10

Good, sure, but I'd like to hear the elementary school version before I believe the girlfriend stats.

'He actually sounds good' is what low expectations sound like when they get beaten. Best kind of surprise.

Both. Genius and cry for help aren't mutually exclusive, that's most of show business.

โ†ณ
7Dahye2026.10.10

cry for help, maybe, but a very well rehearsed one. nobody picks that song by accident

7Gaeun2026.10.10

singing that song in front of Sung Si-kyung is an audition tape on its own. if it went wrong it'd be a meme for ten years, so he must have known he was good.

โ†ณ
7Dahye2026.10.10

Audition tape is right. And he picked a ballad that sad, no hiding behind choreography.

7Soomin2026.10.10

Fair play for getting through the whole song. I'd forget every lyric the second he looked my way.

8Dabin2026.10.10

imagine being the guy who wrote it and just having to sit there and take it?? the polite smile must have cost him something

7Haneul2026.10.10

Sung Si-kyung sitting there like a teacher proofreading ๐Ÿฅน๐ŸŽค one wrong note and this clip is dead

8Dabin2026.10.10

no bc i can't even sing happy birthday in front of my own family without my voice cracking so this man has my full respect

Ballads are the cruelest thing to cover live, no choreography, no backing track to hide behind. I'd just like to know if Sung Si-kyung said anything to him afterwards.
