๐Ÿ”ฅCORTIS live clip going around and it's not going well

6HugoAm2026.10.10 06:30๐Ÿ‘ 5479๐Ÿ’ฌ 25โ™ฅ 75

CORTIS, live, no vocal effects. Korean comments are rough: it's a professional stage, "they're young" isn't an excuse. Fans say the song is just brutal to do live.

I'm a CORTIS fan and I have to admit side A is mostly right here. Hard song or not, the rap shouldn't sound this thin, and asking fans to put phones away doesn't fix that. More practice, fewer excuses, please boys.

you can't fix nerves by telling the room to be quiet. same with phones, honestly

8Dabin2026.10.10

lag spike is so mean but so accurate lol. the ping check always comes at the worst time

5Gyuwon2026.10.10

they got the top-tier treatment before the top-tier skills. that's the whole problem

5stan_moderately2026.10.10

'they're young' and 'they need to improve' can both be said at the same time, people

5Putri2026.10.10

agree, wanting them to be better is just caring with homework attached. I'll keep cheering and hope the next live stage shuts everyone up

6Hayoon2026.10.10

they literally just debuted, every rookie sounds like this at some point. give them a year

they'll be fine. fans are allowed to say 'not good enough yet' without it being hate

โ†ณ
7Haneul2026.10.10

'give them a year' is what we said about like six groups and half of them ended up on variety shows ๐Ÿ˜ญ ok fine, I'll wait ๐Ÿฅน

that's what stings as a fan. the hype got there before the live vocals did

โ†ณ
7Minjae2026.10.10

the top-tier treatment is also why the clip travels. same clip from a small group gets 200 views and a 'they'll improve'.

6devils_avocado2026.10.10

the song is really hard to perform live though. that kind of song eats rookies alive

โ†ณ

Hard song is a fair point, but then somebody chose to put it on a no-effects stage. That's a setlist problem before it's a skill problem. I'd blame the planning first.

the phone ban rule aged badly

โ†ณ
5Ignacia2026.10.10

the phone ban was never a ban, it was a prayer. and the one clip that leaks is always the one you prayed about

fair ๐Ÿฅน the rap part hurt to watch though. someone give these boys a hug and one more rehearsal ๐Ÿ˜ญ

โ†ณ
7Soomin2026.10.10

Yeah both can be said. Only one of them gets the likes online though.

7Minjae2026.10.10

been to enough shows to know the first year of lives is always rough, even for groups I love now. fair to want better, just maybe not the obituary tone

5Fernanda_m2026.10.10

watching a live clip with zero effects is the most honest thing a group can put out. brave, and a little cruel to the boys

โ†ณ
8Taeho2026.10.10

'Brave' assumes they chose it. I doubt the boys were consulted, so I'd save the praise for whoever signed off on no effects for that song.

โ†ณ
7Nari2026.10.11

A bit cruel, a bit useful. Nothing fixes a rap part faster than hearing it back with no effects on it.

7Dahye2026.10.10

I teach teenagers and I know the exact sound of someone rapping too fast because they're nervous. give them a few more stages before we write the obituary ๐Ÿ˜…

7Geonwoo2026.10.10

no-effects stage is basically the idol version of a lag spike. everything's fine until somebody checks the ping.

โ†ณ
8Dabin2026.10.10

7Haneul2026.10.10

ok but I watched with the sound up and my ears filed a complaint ๐Ÿ˜ญ not hating, just rehearse in the shower more ๐Ÿšฟโœจ

7Gaeun2026.10.11

Honest question: do groups get a say in no-effects stages or are they just told? It changes who I'm annoyed at.

โ†ณ
7Gaeun2026.10.12

As far as I can tell they get told, not asked. Setlist gets decided way above them and they just show up in the outfit and hope the in-ears behave.
