๐ฅthe bootcut pants in Billlie's 4 Walls cover
Billlie put up a dance cover of f(x)'s 4 Walls and I have watched it more times than I want to admit.
The thing that got me before any of the dancing: all four are in black bootcut pants. Not leggings, not mini skirts, flared pants that move with every step. 4 Walls is a song where the legs do half the work, so the flare makes every kick and slide look bigger. Whoever styled this knew the song.

The moment I keep going back to is the last chorus, when they switch into voguing. It's sharp and very current, but it doesn't erase what made the original feel strange and cool. Korean fans are pointing out that the four in the video, Moon Sua, Suhyun, Haram and Siyoon, practiced 4 Walls the most back when they were trainees. Knowing that makes it feel less like filler content and more like something they really wanted to do. It also reminded me that the song itself hasn't aged at all.
