🔥Wonyoung's living room is splitting people

6ice_cold_takesAm2026.10.09 13:36👁 2858💬 35♥ 57

"My place, my peace." That's Wonyoung's caption on her new living room photos, and within a day the furniture had been priced to the won. The red Pierre Paulin Dune sofa runs around 10 million won per module, and estimates for her full setup reach about 200 million won.

Side A, the top comment: she learned vanity and showing off instead of thrift. Side B: a celebrity's prime is short, so let her live how she wants. Team B, no hesitation. She's been working since she was 14, the sofa is red, the cherries are cute, nobody is getting hurt.

She's been working since 14, I'd be sitting on something this soft too. And it's such a good red.

5Chiara2026.10.09

ok I did flinch at the 200 million number, but the cherries won me back in about four seconds

4Taras2026.10.09

Team B, but 'my peace' with a 10M won sofa is peace with a lot of insurance paperwork. cherries are free though

4Linh2026.10.09

is the sofa actually hers or was it styled by the brand? the price talk feels different if she just borrowed it

6velvetrabbit2026.10.09

Red Velvet has been paying Pantone rent for years and nobody priced their couches

6Ioana2026.10.09

Team B, but posting a 200M won sofa during a cost of living crisis is a choice

↳
5kiwi_savage2026.10.09

she posted her living room, not a price tag. Korean media did the math

Ten million won a module is a transfer fee for a sofa. Her money, her club, I'm not the one auditing the books.

🛋️❤️🍒

5mintchoco_hater2026.10.09

any young celeb in Korea showing a nice home gets this. half the comments are jealousy, the other half will buy the dupe sofa next week

↳
6ice_cold_takesOP2026.10.09

the dupe industry thanks her for her service

↳
5Aurelien2026.10.09

Jealousy is part of it, sure. But 'my place, my peace' with a price tag attached became a status post whether she meant it to or not.

4Ines2026.10.09

red sofa, cherries, i'm not mad about any of it

5Gyuwon2026.10.09

Free sofa, free opinions. Only one of those got priced to the won.

5Chiara2026.10.09

ok I did flinch at the 200 million number, but the cherries won me back in about four seconds

5Valen2026.10.09

the 200 million number made me flinch too, then I remembered the lightsticks sitting on my shelf. we all have a sofa of our own

5Layla2026.10.09

meanwhile my living room is a desk chair and a laundry pile. nobody has priced it, I checked

↳
3WeiLing2026.10.09

desk chair and a laundry pile is just minimalism with extra steps

6Priya.s2026.10.09

a red sofa is such a bold choice though. my whole room is one beige rug and I'm scared of it

4ARMYforlife_72026.10.09

sofa is fine, it's the 'my peace' caption that gets me. peace usually doesn't come with an invoice trending on Naver

↳
6Hayoon2026.10.10

Team B but I wouldn't let anyone eat near a 10M won sofa. peace for me is someone else's snacks on someone else's couch

6Zeynep2026.10.09

Her money, fine. But nobody priced the cherries and they're doing a lot of free PR in that room

5gochujang_gang2026.10.09

I just want to know where she keeps the snacks in that room. red sofa, cherries, and no visible 간식 situation feels suspicious

↳
5kimbap_kid2026.10.09

no visible 간식 means the snacks are inside the 10 million won sofa module. pull a cushion, find ramyeon

↳
6Yoonseo2026.10.09

간식 (gansik) means snacks, and 'no visible 간식 situation' is the best phrase in this thread

6Priya.s2026.10.09

this is a Running Man mission now. 'find the 200 million won item in this living room'. I'd lose to the sofa immediately

4Taras2026.10.09

Team B, but 'my peace' with a 10M won sofa is peace with a lot of insurance paperwork. cherries are free though

4Linh2026.10.09

↳
7Gaeun2026.10.10

Good question, and it changes the whole argument. Nobody in the thread seems to know, including the people who priced it to the won.

5tteok_and_roll2026.10.10

200 million won living room and I bet the fridge is one kimchi container and old tteokbokki. that's the real flex

4maple_lurker2026.10.10

red sofa is nice but ten million won for ONE module hurts my small business brain 😅

5Ignacia2026.10.10

Sofa so good. Not sorry.

8Dabin2026.10.10

omg wait the red sofa is gorgeous but ten million won per module means one cushion costs more than my semester. still team B tho
