🔥look closer at Jin's shirt

7HaeunAm2026.10.09 08:03👁 4727💬 23♥ 81

BTS posted their after-show group photos from the Lima stop of the ARIRANG tour and I spent way too long on one detail.

At first it reads as a normal BTS tour tee with the members printed on it. Then you notice the little crown sitting right above Jin's head in the print, and JIN spelled out underneath in sparkly letters. He wore a shirt crowning himself to his own concert, and honestly that kind of confidence deserves its own chart.

my group chat nickname for me is 'the quiet one' and I've been treating it like an award

I sell things for a living and a crown over your own head is excellent branding. zero ad spend, whole tour wearing it

Imagine a Carat meetup where one of ours showed up in a crown shirt. We'd treasure it for a year and roast him for two.

taste debate is kind of moot. a crown over your own head is a bit, and the bit is the whole point

5sleepy_jpg2026.10.09

the crown sits so perfectly over his head it's basically a hat he's wearing twice

4Thandi2026.10.09

congrats to Jin on being his own biggest fan!!

5moonchild_2026.10.09

the crown is placed EXACTLY over his head. that was not an accident, that was a design brief

6Lukas932026.10.09

do we know if he customized it himself or a fan gave it to him? not doubting the energy, just curious

nothing I found says who made it, only that he wore it for the post-show photos. either way he chose to put it on, which is the funny part

5Gyuwon2026.10.09

worldwide handsome merch department working overtime

6Hajun2026.10.09

More self-aware than half the merch I've paid for this year, to be fair.

↳
8Dabin2026.10.09

no bc the worldwide handsome merch department has exactly one very loyal customer and he's in the group

4softpeach442026.10.09

is this actual merch or a one-off? if it's sold anywhere I need to know before my wallet does

↳
6Priya.s2026.10.09

post doesn't say where it's from, so I'd hold the wallet for now. if it does turn up for sale it'll be gone by lunch anyway

↳
7Nari2026.10.10

reckon it's gone by lunch either way. if it's a one-off, someone's printing 500 knock-offs by Friday 😂

5Ploy2026.10.09

congrats Jin on the crown!! a king needs his own merch

6Jaehee2026.10.09

I can't even get a nickname in my own group chat and he's out here with a crown in sparkly letters

not sure I buy the confidence angle. sparkly serif JIN under a crown is a lot. if he picked it himself he has more confidence than taste, and I mean that lovingly

nobody here can say where the shirt came from, so I'm filing it under 'Jin knows exactly what he's doing' until proven otherwise

6Dohyun2026.10.09

producer brain: the crown is easy, the sparkly font is the brave part. somebody sat in a meeting and signed off on that typeface

7Junseo2026.10.10

give it one more stop and 'worldwide handsome' goes on the back of the shirt. he'd wear it to soundcheck
