🔥MEOVV's Narin keeps spotting fansite masters from impossibly far away

6b1ue_hourAm2026.10.07 11:39👁 4638💬 43♥ 76

There's a running joke with MEOVV fans now that Narin has superhuman eyesight. At university festivals she somehow finds the hommas (fansite masters with the big lenses) standing way at the back and looks straight at them.

This one is from a Makestar video call on September 19. The fan who posted it captioned it "are you Mongolian? An eagle? What's your eyesight?" Koreans joke that Mongolians have the best eyes in the world, so that's the highest compliment available.

The Korean poster said even if she's looking for fans on purpose, seeing them from that distance is wild, and it makes her look like a real pro. I shoot with a long lens sometimes, and the people at the back of a festival crowd are dots even through the viewfinder. She's finding them with her eyes.

the lens helps for sure. at night festivals though they're just dark shapes, I've tried

6b1ue_hourOP2026.10.07

exactly, best payment a homma can get

6busan_or_bust2026.10.08

Can foreigners just walk into a Korean university festival? Asking for a trip in November

6screamingcarrot2026.10.07

*screams* imagine standing at the very back and she just points at you

6meh_espresso2026.10.07

Same. She can find a lens 40 meters away and I'm still looking for the lid of the thing I'm holding

5kiwi_savage2026.10.07

Eyesight of an eagle and she actually uses it on fans. Elite

6Mateo2026.10.07

The Mongolian eyesight compliment is such a Korean joke. I've heard it about at least five different people

5Jules2026.10.07

Never heard that Mongolian eyesight joke before this post. Where does it come from?

6ice_cold_takes2026.10.07

Fans pay for the giant lens, she pays them back in eye contact. Fair trade

Isn't it more that those big lenses are easy to spot? A giant white cannon at the back isn't exactly hiding

↳

Both can be true. The lens helps, and she still has to care enough to look for it

3yay_congrats2026.10.07

Not wrong. A giant white lens stands out like a lighthouse. Still impressed she checks the back row at all

↳
5Gyuwon2026.10.07

Sure the lens helps. Nobody's saying she's psychic, just committed to the bit

4maple_lurker2026.10.07

first MEOVV clip I've ever watched and now I'm three clips deep

6Jaehee2026.10.07

I can't find my glasses when they're on my head

↳
6meh_espresso2026.10.07

Same. She can find a lens 40 meters away and I'm still looking for the lid of the thing I'm holding

6Yoonseo2026.10.07

Vocab: 시력 (siryeok) = eyesight, 독수리 (doksuri) = eagle. Now you can compliment your friends like a Korean fan

5Camila2026.10.07

She really does keep an eye on her fans. Literally

6Omar2026.10.07

Waiting six hours with a lens the size of a toddler and she just points at you. Retire at peak

↳
5cryingagain2026.10.07

pointed at by Narin from 40 meters and I'd frame that moment. fine, not literally. maybe literally

5Fernanda_m2026.10.07

Stage lights straight in her face and she still finds the back row. My eyes water at a ring light

↳
4Doha2026.10.07

Stage lights in her face and she still finds the back row. That's the actual fan service

5Oksana2026.10.07

Eye contact with the back row is basically rule one of fan service. She just plays on hard mode

5Noor2026.10.07

I lose my phone while I'm talking on it. She spots a lens from the back row, I can't spot the fridge door hanging open

↳
5kimbap_kid2026.10.08

An open fridge door is my kitchen telling me it's lonely. Narin would spot it from the back row

2Manon2026.10.07

Is the Mongolian eyesight joke only a Korean thing or does it exist elsewhere too?

↳
7Junseo2026.10.08

as far as i know it's a korean stock compliment, 'mongolians have great eyes'. i haven't seen it used outside korea

5moonchild_2026.10.07

I'm crying, but a giant white lens in a dark crowd is basically a flashlight. She might just be looking at the glint

↳
3Marta2026.10.08

Glint theory makes it less cute and I refuse it. Let her have the superpower

↳
4ARMYforlife_72026.10.08

She's looking at her fans, let her have this. The glint theory is rude

5Mads2026.10.08

A waiter recognises me after one visit and I feel famous. Narin doing it from 40 meters is a different league

↳

When someone remembers my order after one visit it makes my whole shift. A lens spotted from 40 meters would make my year

4Eero2026.10.08

She can spot a lens from the back row and I can't find my keys in a bowl. She really does see eye to eye with her fans

5Valen2026.10.08

I'm crying that a call can feel that personal. Then I think about the lens glint theory and can't decide if I'm moved or deflated

↳
3quietpe2026.10.08

Moved or deflated, same. I'm going with moved until someone proves otherwise.

5sleepy_jpg2026.10.08

She sees the back row. I can't see the TV without my glasses. We are not the same

6busan_or_bust2026.10.08

Can foreigners just walk into a Korean university festival? Asking for a trip in November

6Yoonseo2026.10.08

today's word: 홈마 (homma) = fansite master, short for 홈페이지 마스터. The 'home page' part is from the old days of fan websites

3Fah2026.10.08

congrats!! to the homma who got pointed at, that fan's month is made

6Dohyun2026.10.08

Not sure it's eyesight. Same festivals, same hommas, same corners every time. She might just know the map.

↳
5Tenzin2026.10.08

Could be both. Same corners every time helps, but she still has to look at the right second with stage lights in her face.

7Haeun2026.10.08

Pointing at one homma in a clip is a highlight reel, not a sample. I'd love to see how many she missed

I once waved at a stranger across a train platform and it was a vending machine. Narin does this at festival scale and gets it right

Idols are told where the cameras are and hommas stand in the same spots every time. Cute, but I'd hold the eagle medal

4Doha2026.10.08

Even if she knows the map, finding one face with stage lights in your eyes is still impressive. Let her keep the eagle title.
