Woochi the Wayfarer just 4D-scanned its lead actor, and they won't tell us who he is
Woochi the Wayfarer is the Joseon fantasy action game from Nexon Games' LoreVault Studio, where the Taoist mage Jeon Woo-chi fights monsters with magic. Their second dev update says the actor who plays Woo-chi is cast, and in August the team went to Epic Games' studio in LA for a 4D scan with 3Lateral, the digital human people.

They're not revealing the actor yet, which is a very effective way to make me zoom into the back of a man's head.

The part I like more is the world. Nexon signed an MOU with the Korea Tourism Organization for about 70,000 images and around 1,000 videos of Korean nature and heritage, including drone footage and historic sites that are hard to get into. In March the team scouted Towangseong Falls on Seoraksan, Hwanseongul Cave and Naksansa Temple. Unreal Engine 5, PC and console, single-player. Jeon Woo-chi comes from a classic Korean tale, and some people will know the name from the 2009 movie with Gang Dong-won. I lived in Busan for a while, so if a piece of that coastline ends up in the game, I'm buying it day one.
