🔥Choi Yoojung danced ATEEZ's BAD and a different person showed up in the first second

5nunchi_zeroAm2026.10.07 03:30Modified👁 3535💬 46♥ 62

Found this on a Korean board and I've rewatched it more times than I want to admit.

Choi Yoojung did ATEEZ's BAD, and the Korean poster's description was basically "her work-self popped out the second it started." BAD is heavy choreo with big moves, and she still splits the beats super cleanly and actually lands the hard and soft parts.

The poster also said strong choreo shows off her dance lines more than the cute stuff does. I tried the first eight counts in my room and hit my desk lamp, so I'm not qualified to judge, but the lamp agrees.

She went from very very very to very very BAD in one clip

5lol_true2026.10.07

lol true, different person

5cryingagain2026.10.07

the first count hit and I physically sat up, I'm crying

A concept isn't a prison. Strong for one stage, cute for the next, that's just range

5Kofi.A2026.10.07

Splitting the beat is the hard part of BAD, most covers just go loud. She stays sharp without over-hitting

4Doha2026.10.07

ATINY here, seeing her cover BAD this cleanly is a gift. The arm sections especially

"Bad, bad, all the way bad" and she did it with a smile before the beat

my lamp would like a word about over-hitting

6Ioana2026.10.07

Cute Yoojung is her whole brand though. One great cover doesn't mean she should change concepts

5Gyuwon2026.10.07

One cover isn't a concept change, sure. But it's a great argument for trying one stage

↳
4ARMYforlife_72026.10.08

Brand is what the company sells. She can have a strong stage once and nothing breaks

6Olu2026.10.07

Which group is she from? I know the face but I'm still new

↳
6hanbyeol2026.10.07

I.O.I first, then Weki Meki. She's been on stages since she was a teen

↳
5nunchi_zeroOP2026.10.07

I.O.I is how I know her too. Rewatching old Produce 101 clips after this was a mistake, I lost two hours

5aaaahelsinki2026.10.07

*screams at the first second* the switch is so real

5jaywalker2026.10.07

Respectfully, a trained idol hearing a beat and switching on is just the job. Still great though

↳
6devils_avocado2026.10.07

"Just the job" is underselling it. Plenty of trained idols can't switch styles that hard on a song that isn't theirs

↳
5jaywalker2026.10.08

Agreed. Great cover, but "a different person showed up" is how every fancam gets described now

5lol_true2026.10.07

5dadjoke_dk2026.10.07

My dance moves are like ATEEZ's BAD too. Just without the "choreo" part

6Yoonseo2026.10.07

Vocab: 직캠 (jikcam), fancam, from 직접 찍은 캠. Half of the K-pop internet runs on that word

5Valen2026.10.07

I'm crying, the hard arm parts are SO clean

↳
5Valen2026.10.08

crying with you, the arm part is unreal

6Tomas2026.10.07

She danced it so well it's not BAD at all

6Dohyun2026.10.07

BAD has a lot of space in the low end, so the choreo hits land on bass rather than snare. She's catching the bass, that's why it reads so clean

↳
6Dohyun2026.10.07

This. The kick and the 808 carry the hits, and she's dancing to the bottom of the mix. Most covers dance to the vocals

7Dahye2026.10.07

The switch in the first second is what got me. Smiley face, beat drops, and she's a completely different person

7Minjae2026.10.07

Loving seeing idols cover other groups' songs. Strong concept or cute, she clearly has fun either way

4Doha2026.10.07

ATEEZ covers by other idols always make my day. She clearly practiced this properly, the footwork in the chorus is on point

6hanbyeol2026.10.07

The cute image mostly comes from her Weki Meki era, so this hits extra hard for Korean fans

↳
6Ioana2026.10.07

That's the thing about a strong image. One great cover and suddenly fans want a whole new concept

5curiosa_br2026.10.07

is this a dance challenge or a full cover?

↳
4softpeach442026.10.07

same question. full cover or a short clip?

5Putri2026.10.07

Love ATEEZ covers, but I'm still in my 'let the original guys do it' era. This one is good though

6Dain2026.10.07

Cute to hard switch is cool but I need a full stage, not one cover. A clip is a clip

↳
6Omar2026.10.07

Rewatched it more than I'd admit, but a cover is a cover. Put her on a real stage with lights and fans, then I'll talk

I did the first eight counts like the OP and now my neighbor knows my whole personality

6ice_cold_takes2026.10.07

Strong concept for her next comeback or I'm unsubscribing from cuteness

4Eero2026.10.07

I tried the first eight counts and my back filed a complaint. It was BAD

↳
6Jaehee2026.10.07

My back filed a complaint too and I only watched it

5aaaahelsinki2026.10.07

*screams* the part where she drops low. The floor felt that

5Andrei2026.10.07

*screams* cute to menace in zero frames. I'm filing a missing person report for the aegyo

5Kofi.A2026.10.08

Kofi-approved. The clean stop after the big arm wave is the hardest thing in that choreo and she nailed the freeze

6Olu2026.10.08

First time seeing her dance. Is she still active with music or mostly acting now?
